[ Earlier Versions ]
A cost effective alternative to the full Pultec EQP-1A emulation with the essential signature vintage sounds.
Applying bass boost without loss of definition and focus can be a challenge, even for modern digital equalizers.
The elegant simplicity of the vintage Pultec design is renowned for its signature 'low-end trick' - the ability to boost and cut low frequencies at the same time, adding powerful, tight bass boost without sacrificing detail.
Emulating the vintage Pultec EQH hardware, the plug-in provides a subset of the more feature rich EQP-1A. The characteristic separate boost and attenuate controls shape the frequency response, while the same innovative algorithms used for the [ PTC-2A ] recreate a genuine analogue filter response without requiring conventional CPU intensive techniques.

|•||Mac Audio Unit 64Bit Only||V2.1.0|
|•||Mac VST 64Bit Only||V2.1.0|
|•||Windows VST 32 and 64Bit||V2.1.0|
|•||Separate LF Boost and Attenuate Controls||Simultaneous low frequency boost and cut, emulating the classic Pultec 'Low-end trick'.|
|•||Three LF filter frequencies||Switchable to 30Hz, 60Hz and 100Hz, provides a subset of the PTC-2A / EQP-1A ranges.|
|•||Five HF / Mid Boost frequencies||Provides a subset of the PTC-2A / EQP-1A ranges.|
|•||Physical Control Weighting||Replicates the 'feel' as well as the look of high quality rotary controls.|
|•||Passive Filters||6dB / Octave passive filter emulation maintains the smooth frequency response and desirable control interaction of the original vintage designs.|
|•||Transformer-coupled gain stage||Similar to the original Pultec EQs, the passive filters are followed by a transformer-coupled tube amplifier stage which further enhances the vintage qualities.|
|•||Analogue Filter Modelling||Analogue Filter Modelling algorithms recreate natural analogue filter curves, without requiring high sample rates or CPU intensive upsampling, allowing more plugin instances in a typical DAW.|
