The classic signature sounds of one of the world's most sought-after vintage EQs, emulated for Mac and PC.
Even with modern digital equalizers, low-end boost can come at the expense of focus and definition.
The elegant simplicity of the vintage Pultec design is renowned for its signature 'low-end trick' - the ability to boost and cut low frequencies at the same time, adding powerful, tight bass boost without sacrificing detail.
The PTC-2A emulates the signature vintage Pultec sounds, replicating the unique ability to sculpt the EQ curve with separate boost and attenuate controls, while innovative DSP technology ensures a genuine analogue filter response without requiring conventional CPU intensive techniques.
A transformer-coupled tube amplifier emulation further enhances the vintage qualities, adding subtle character even with the EQ bypassed.

|•||Separate LF Boost and Attenuate Controls||Simultaneous low frequency boost and cut, emulating the classic Pultec 'Low-end trick'.|
|•||Physical Control Weighting||Replicates the 'feel' as well as the look of high quality rotary controls.|
|•||Passive Filters||6dB / Octave passive filter emulation maintains the smooth frequency response and desirable control interaction of the original vintage designs.|
|•||Transformer-coupled gain stage||Similar to the original Pultec EQs, the passive filters are followed by a transformer-coupled tube amplifier stage which further enhances the vintage qualities.|
|•||Analogue Filter Modelling||Analogue Filter Modelling algorithms recreate natural analogue filter curves, without requiring high sample rates or CPU intensive upsampling, allowing more plugin instances in a typical DAW.|
