In contrast, the elegant simplicity of the vintage Pultec design, renowned for its signature 'low-end trick' - the ability to boost and cut low frequencies at the same time - adds powerful, tight bass boost without sacrificing detail.
Emulating the vintage Pultec EQH hardware, the plug-in provides a subset of the more feature rich EQP-1A. The characteristic separate boost and attenuate controls shape the frequency response, while the same innovative algorithms used for the PTC-2A / EQP-1A recreate a genuine analogue filter response without requiring conventional CPU intensive techniques.
